The purpose of the Women’s Service Ministry is to encourage the women of Grace Church to grow as women of God, to promote fellowship among the women, and to enable them to serve the needs of the church and reach out to the stranger.
The Ministry encourages and supports members facing challenges ranging from the happy arrival of a new child, or the grief of a bereavement. Meals and visits are provided for women and families experiencing sickness, loneliness, or weakness. The Ministry also coordinates the church prayer chain, fellowship meals, coffee hours, women’s bible studies and retreats, and a clothing give-away.
The Women’s Service Ministry also functions as a contact point for the Assist Pregnancy Center, a service to women with unexpected pregnancies, or post-abortion trauma.
Brochures with further information about the fellowship are available in the Narthex.
