Seminary Students
Grace Presbyterian Church is committed to playing a part in training leaders for the next generation and missionaries to bring the gospel to this country and to the world. Grace pastors and elders mentor seminary students under their care, train them to be servant teachers and preachers, and provide opportunities for service. We see a man’s years in seminary, and in internships, as a unique window of time to provide pointed guidance and candid feedback in preparation for a life of usefulness to Christ and his church.
With the encouragement of our denomination, Grace joins many other Orthodox Presbyterian congregations in offering a regular paid internship, funded in part by the congregation, and in part by the Christian Education committee of the OPC. Application forms for the internship can be found on the OPC Ministerial Internship Program page on the denomination’s website.
Grace is also developing non-stipendiary internships as a vehicle for mentoring and training prospective ministers.
